Some allied House Vornherr Questoris Knights all finished up for my Legio Atarus! Testing out the new camera/cheapo light box. Learned quite a bit about painting at this scale! Far from perfect, but I’m looking forward to doing more and applying those lessons!
Legio Atarus incoming.
Fully magnetized a banner of three knights in preparation for the paint table tomorrow.
Two reaver titans, a war titan, and another banner of knights to come ….
Finished up 60ish grots for my growing Gloomspite Gitz army!
60 moonclan grots (pokas?) on the paint table. Airbrushed highlights and a wash.
Now on to a mind-numbing amount of edge highlighting before I do the rest of the details.
VMA Anthracite Grey (base)
Mixed in VMA Stonewall Grey (highlight)
4/1 mix of VMA Stonewall Grey and VMA Anthracite Grey (second highlight)
50/50 mix Vallejo Airbrush Flow Improver and Citadel Nuln Oil (wash)
My first time painting up a Nurgle-themed miniature and it was a real joy. Lots of Nurgle goodness to experiment with glazes, washes, etc. on.
Stnylrez Black Primer
Zenithal Vallejo Model Air Charred Brown
Vallejo Metal Color Good
Wash with Reikland Flesh Shade
Drybrush Vallejo Metal Color Chrome Mixed with Vallejo Metal Color Gold
Drybrush Vallejo Model Air Aluminum
Edge highlight Vallejo Model Air Aluminum
Citadel Thousand Sons Blue
Another warband completed for Warhammer Underworlds, Zarbag’s Gitz. I was disappointed to see so many mold lines on these sculpts given they new from GW, but I can’t say it was too difficult to remove them.
In other news: I’ve learned I love painting Squigs!
